Where our band name comes from 

We frequently get asked where our band name Builder of the House comes from. I am also frequently called Bob the Builder. No connection. The phrase 'builder of the house' is used in both Christianity and Buddhism. I was introduced to the phrase through the latter and found out afterwards about its Christian connection. Greetings from Maine. We are super pumped to be heading down to New York this fall to join Zoe Sundra and Laura Ganci for the kick-off show to their national tour. We'll be playing at Arlene's Grocery on Tuesday September 4. We're bringing the whole shebang - guitar, vibes, set, microkorg, banjo, upright, marching bass drum, and uke. Let's get hookah after.
